Accessibility

As a covered entity under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of Los Angeles does not discriminate on the basis of disability and, upon request, will provide reasonable accommodations to ensure equal access to its programs, services, and activities.

As such, the Emergency Management Department (EMD) is fully committed to producing and providing fully accessible information, materials, and services in a wide variety of formats to meet the diverse needs of Angelenos.

As technology evolves, so does the need to provide innovative and immediate accessibility. EMD and the City’s web designers continuously learn new strategies for digital accessibility. EMD strives to provide state-of-the-art accessibility across all our digital platforms for all Angelenos.

If EMD has failed to do this, or you encounter information on our website or social media which you cannot access, please let us know so that we can correct this error.

Questions or concerns regarding EMD’s web accessibility should be submitted online or by calling (213) 484-4800. TTY: (213) 978-0463.
