The week's news led with nominations for Hollywood stars (Golden Globe awards), but the lead role in the City of Los Angeles now belongs to new Mayor Karen Bass. Today, Her Honor signed an emergency declaration for homelessness - center stage - where the City Emergency Operations Center (EOC) had a "best supporting" role as the backdrop.
